What kind of mahjong do you teach?

I teach American mahjong using National Mah Jongg League rules. (I’m a purist - no blanks!)

How do lessons work?

I come to you and will bring all required mahjong materials!

If you wish to learn at home, all you need to provide is a table larger than 33 × 33 inches and somewhere to sit.

If you prefer to meet out and about, I can suggest different locations depending on your neighborhood.

Which areas of L.A. do you service?

Mainly the west side including Playa Del Rey, Mar Vista, Marina Del Rey, Culver, and Santa Monica.

If you live outside of these areas feel free to enquire! I can accommodate extra driving time (within reason) and will factor in a travel surcharge depending on milage.

Should I book Mahjong 101 or 102?

Have you ever played before? If the answer is ‘no’, then 101 is for you.

If you’ve played a game or two but need a refresher on rules and strategy, then 102 is your lesson!

Cancellation and refund policy:

50% nonrefundable deposit due at the time of booking.

Remaining balance due 48 hours prior to scheduled lesson.
